This policy applies to the Oil Specifications app for iPhone and iPad, published by My Web Kft. It does not apply to the oilspecifications.org website, which has a separate privacy policy.
Data controller

Data not collected
The app does not require an account. It does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, telemetry, third-party crash-reporting, location, contact, or user-profiling services. Apple may provide diagnostics according to your device privacy settings.
The app stores its reference content, bookmarks, and settings on your device. Bookmarks and searches are not sent to us. Removing the app removes locally stored app data, subject to the normal behavior of your device and any backups you control.
Content downloads in version 3.0 and later
The app downloads published references and images directly from oilspecifications.org over HTTPS. Like other web requests, these requests disclose an IP address and basic request information to our hosting infrastructure. This information may appear in operational server logs used to deliver and protect the service. The app sends no account identifier, bookmarks, or search terms with content updates. Older versions use Apple CloudKit for content delivery.
Optional new-content notifications
If you enable notifications, the app sends an installation identifier, an Apple push notification token, your notification preference, and registration timestamps to our website. We use this information to deliver alerts about newly published articles and specifications through Apple Push Notification service. It is not used for advertising or tracking. Notification requests also disclose normal IP and request information to the hosting infrastructure.
You can disable notifications in the app’s About screen or iOS Settings. The app synchronizes preference changes when connected and active. Installation credentials are stored in the device Keychain and can remain after reinstalling the app. We retain registration information to manage your preference and delivery records to diagnose failures; these records are not linked to an account, bookmarks, or searches.
External links and support
If you follow a link from the app to a website or the Apple App Store, the destination service processes information under its own privacy policy. The app does not receive personal data from those services.
If you contact us for support, we process the email address, message, and any information you choose to provide so we can respond. Support correspondence is handled outside the app and retained only as long as needed to resolve the request or meet legal obligations.
Children
The app is a general automotive reference and is not directed to children. We do not use content-download requests to profile children or other readers.
Your rights
If you contact us, applicable law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or receive a copy of personal data contained in that correspondence. Requests can be sent to info@my-web.hu. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the app's behavior or legal requirements change. If a future app version collects data, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure before that collection begins.
